Sindhaan Mohamed, Manager, LTI Maafushivaru

With over 10 years of experience in the luxury hospitality sector, Sindhaan is currently working as the Assistant Resort Manager for lti Maafushivaru, Maldives. A specialist in Guest Relations as well as PR and Communications, he started his career with O&O Reethi Rah, Maldives and also has experience with international brands such as Jumeirah and Six Senses as well as local brands such as Amilla Fushi, Maldives. He has played a key role in developing the PR and Communications strategies for the pre-opening of lti Maafushivaru as well as the launch of the Vamoos application at Maafushivaru, Maldives.

Nick Scanove, Managing Director, Brilliance Belize

Nick Scavone has a 45-year career in the Hospitality, Hospitality Information Technology and Tourism industry. He has managed hotels of all sizes and service levels in The Bahamas, the United States, Caribbean islands and Belize as well as consulting and providing IT project leadership services to luxury specialty resorts in the Caribbean and around the world. He is an author, lecturer and public speaker.  Nick was also the author of the first undergraduate degree curriculum in Hospitality and Tourism at Galen University and taught those courses for three years as an associate professor.  He is presently the Managing Director of Brilliance Belize a local consulting and management company based in San Pedro. He holds a BSc degree from Florida International University in International Hospitality Management and Tourism as well as a Professional MBA from Galen University, Belize. He also has a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) designation as well as certification in other Microsoft technologies.

Alisdair Luxmoore, CEO, Vamoos

Entrepreneur and travel expert, Alisdair co-founded Vamoos in 2014 having identified a niche in the market following 10+ years running the tour operator, Fleewinter. He also built and manages the hotel Rebali Riads in Morocco, and founded Super Yacht Holidays, a fleet of four yachts offering luxury holidays afloat in the Greek Islands.
